Inspiring Creativity: Creative Arts Academy Students Tour A3 Visual

Written by A3 Visual | December 20, 2024

At A3 Visual, we believe in inspiring the next generation of creators and innovators. Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting students from the Creative Arts Academy (CAA) Graphic Design Pathway program at Alexander Hamilton High School for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of our facilities. It was an opportunity to not only showcase our design-to-merchandise processes but also to connect with young, aspiring designers eager to explore career possibilities in the industry.

Touring A3 Visual Los Angeles

The students embarked on a walking field trip to our local facility, where they experienced firsthand how ideas are transformed into tangible, high-impact visuals. From large-scale printing to installation techniques, we provided a comprehensive overview of the journey from concept to execution. Along the way, they learned about the diverse roles and skills that contribute to making our projects come to life.

Special thanks go out to our Chief Operations Officer, Frank Vaccarello, who guided the students through an informative and engaging tour. Frank highlighted the craftsmanship, technology, and teamwork that define our work, sharing insights into what it takes to succeed in this fast-paced and ever-evolving field.

Testimonials from the Creative Arts Academy (CAA) Students

A highlight of the visit was a talk from Craig Furst, whose dedication to innovation and leadership has been instrumental in shaping A3 Visual’s trajectory. Craig’s words left a lasting impression, offering students a glimpse into the possibilities their future careers might hold. Here’s what CAA shared with their community:

“CAA graphic design pathway students went on a walking field trip to visit the local firm, A3 Visual; there, they toured their facilities to see the entire design-to-merchandise processes from industry professionals to see how they can put their skills to use in a future career. Special thanks to our neighbors at A3 Visual and especially Mr. Frank Vaccarello, Chief Operations Officer, who took the time to give our students and staff a very informative tour of the company."

The students also shared their personal reflections:

"Thank you for your time and for showing us your workspace/company. We hope to see you again. Keep up the work; we really enjoyed each station of work that each employee has assigned. It is something that we see ourselves working in as students in the future."

"Thank you for allowing our class to visit the A3 Visuals facility last week. I enjoyed exploring the massive place and seeing different images printed. I liked seeing all the different teams—from designers on computers to the sewing team. It was also pretty cool that we had our school logo printed on a banner and stickers as well"

"I appreciated you showing us how the machine works and also how big of a team it takes to make the designs you make. It opened my eyes to the many different jobs that come with Graphic Design."

Setting Up Students for Success

We’re honored to have been part of this inspiring experience and look forward to continuing to foster creativity and ambition within our community. Seeing the excitement in the students’ eyes as they connected their classroom learning to real-world applications was a reminder of why we’re passionate about what we do.

Thank you to CAA for allowing us to be a part of this meaningful day. We can’t wait to see how these talented individuals use their skills to shape the future of design.
