With the much-anticipated return of in-person events and activations, guests are arriving with expectations higher than ever before. So how can you captivate your audience with new and unique experiences? Maybe it’s time to think outside the box.
If you’re considering the design or functionality of your next event, consider the possibilities available when using vibrant, high-contrast printed carpet. Our team works closely with each project lead and event coordinator to ensure maximum exposure and durability.
Here’s everything you need to know when it comes to incorporating carpet into your next activation.
While carpet is most commonly a material used on floors, it can be applied anywhere to help bring an activation to life. Art installations, performance centers, and conventions halls all offer unique opportunities for incorporating printed carpets. Because of the material used during manufacturing, the possibilities for custom graphics are endless. No matter the design, color, layout, or size, our experienced team of printing specialists can help bring your installation to life.
Since printed carpet is typically a single piece of a larger installation, it is often designed within the context of the entire activation. As a result, our team will work with each client to ensure the carpet is uniquely designed to meet your standards as well as the specifications of the venue.
To achieve our high-quality color saturation, our team uses state-of-the-art dye-sublimation technology. Once a design is finalized, our team begins the dye sub process. In order to ensure the longevity of the installation, we transfer the dye at extremely high temperatures. This allows the dye to more thoroughly permeate the carpet fibers, resulting in both a richer and longer-lasting application. Colors will not diminish or fade with the expected (and inevitable) wear and tear.
Over the years, our team has completed a number of custom carpet installations across a range of industries.
We recently collaborated with the University of California San Francisco during DreamForce’s annual “DreamFest” event to create an eye-catching activation. With the idea of creating a top-to-bottom space, we printed both a patterned carpet and wall decal that blended seamlessly together. When the installation was complete, the pieces created an immersive space for guests to interact.
Our team is also proud to share our work in helping to create Beyonce’s historic Homecoming experience at the 2019 Coachella Music Festival. In collaboration with Corso Marketing Group, the installation consisted of a 40’ x 100’ cube that was wrapped in custom yellow fabric, as well as the dramatic 20’ x 250’ custom yellow carpet entrance. Since the marquee event took place outside with heavy foot traffic, only heavy-duty carpet printed with dye sublimation would suffice.
