Challenge

Block by Block 2025 transformed the Oakland Coliseum into a one-of-a-kind immersive event, requiring a comprehensive visual branding program across the entire venue. With more than 150 custom graphics spanning tower wraps, banners, wayfinding, floor graphics, menu boards, and specialty installations, every element needed to be produced, coordinated, and installed with precision—all within a tight event schedule.

Solution

Working alongside Whalefilm and Lally Events, A3 Visual managed the production and installation of large-format graphics throughout the venue. Through early planning, full-scale material testing, and close collaboration with the creative team, we selected the right materials for every application and executed a seamless installation that brought the event vision to life. From large tower wraps and environmental graphics to custom wheat-paste installations, every detail was designed to create a cohesive and engaging guest experience.

Result

The completed installation transformed the Oakland Coliseum into a fully branded event environment that welcomed thousands of attendees. More than 150 custom graphics worked together to enhance navigation, showcase sponsors, and create memorable moments throughout the venue. By combining expert print production with nationwide installation, A3 Visual helped deliver an immersive experience where every graphic contributed to the overall story of Block by Block 2025.

Over the course of three days, more than 8,000 people walked across the space without causing any damage—an impressive testament to the durability of the material. The fabric’s quality truly stood out; it resisted fading, concealed dirt and dust remarkably well, and withstood exposure to the elements. By the end of the program, it looked just as pristine as it did at the start, which was both remarkable and reassuring.
