The 2020 sports season looks quite a bit different than years past. Arenas and stadiums across the country have spent most of the pandemic sitting empty, quietly waiting for teams to resume play.
But for those athletes who have recently stepped back on the field, many are being greeted by some familiar faces: their fans.

Over the past few months, we’ve worked with both professional and collegiate teams to help build the necessary infrastructure for their own cardboard cutout programs, including Inter Miami and the San Francisco 49ers.
Our end-to-end solution allows teams to seamlessly engage their fans through a custom online ordering portal. A3 Visual’s team of in-house software developers build each website to match a team’s existing branding, making it easier than ever to integrate with ongoing marketing materials.

HOW IT WORKS
After an order is placed using the team’s custom portal, a fan’s artwork is immediately sent to A3 Visual for production. Our team then inspects each submission to ensure the image meets all program criteria and quality standards. This added step prevents any submissions that may include obscenities, political statements, or hand gestures from ever making it to the stadium. Many teams also choose to restrict “non-approved” apparel, which also prevents successful submissions from opposing and rival fans!
After a submission has been approved, production begins. Based on the unique features of the venue—from seat type to the angle of the bleachers—our team prints and installs each cardboard cutout. Made with durable 6mm Coroplast, our cutouts are designed to last for the entirety of the season—even withstanding a hit from a foul ball or two.
