From coast to coast, we’ve had the honor of working with some of today’s most notable museums, art galleries, and performing arts centers. This past fall, we partnered with Miami Dade College’s Museum of Art and Design (MOAD) to promote The Body Electric exhibit, which is on display now through the end of May. This series strives to showcase the ever-evolving relationship between humans, technology, and the “inescapable interface” that exists between us and our screens.

THE BODY ELECTRIC EXHIBIT AT MIAMI DADE COLLEGE’S MUSEUM OF ART & DESIGN
ABOUT THE EXHIBIT: THE BODY ELECTRIC
Originally released in November of last year, The Body Electric begins with a series of pioneering artists, including Nam June Paik, Marta Minujín, and Juan Downey. The exhibit spans five decades of creative work and showcases some of the industry’s most contemporary styles and transformative pieces. The exhibit skillfully blends the boundaries between design, technology, the Internet, and artificial intelligence.
PROMOTING THE BODY ELECTRIC WITH A3 VISUAL
Using a number of different pressure-sensitive, banner, and rigid sign materials, our installation for MOAD included both indoor and outdoor graphics. From smaller exhibition signage to large-scale outdoor displays, we produced dozens of unique assets to support MOAD.
Across the museum’s exterior, we swapped out several vertical mesh banners using a previously installed cable system. The new 3ft wide by 32ft high banners feature MOAD’s modern branding as well as advertise the limited-time The Body Electric exhibit.
Within The Body Electric, we also printed a variety of wall murals, floor decals, signage, and exhibition labels. Each of these displays required careful attention to detail, ranging from individually-cut letters to properly-placed artist placards. Due to their small size, many of these graphics were designed with a strong emphasis on legibility.
TEMPORARY INSTALLATIONS FOR MUSEUMS, CONCERT HALLS, AND THE PERFORMING ARTS
With The Body Electric exhibit scheduled to conclude at the end of May, our team will soon return to MOAD to begin the removal process. Our trained crews carefully break down each installation, ensuring that all surfaces are left in the best condition possible. If any print materials are damaged during the course of an exhibit, we also provide maintenance and repair services.
Especially for museums and other performing arts centers—like concert halls, arenas, and theaters—it’s not uncommon to only promote events for a short period of time. And with relatively high turnover and a variety in exhibits and artists, these installations are typically only temporary.
