SEE GLOBAL SISTINE CHAPEL INSTALLATION
CHALLENGES
The traveling showcase, “Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition,” required the helping hand of A3 Visual to deliver an optimal graphic experience. Temporary venues like the Lambermont in San Antonio called for A3 Visual’s team of installation experts to revamp the venue without making permanent changes to the historic building.
SOLUTIONS
We worked closely with SEE Global to print and install pieces measuring up to 9 feet tall and ranging 7 to 16 feet in width. Custom frames were fabricated in-house and topped off with dye-sublimated graphics to deliver the best printed reproductions of pieces such as The Creation of Adam and The Last Judgement. Other SEG frames highlighted the intricate pieces in vivid color whilst providing stability and durability for attendees to admire the detailing of our printing technology and creativity of the artists. Though these pieces throughout the exhibit were printed on 8oz polyester textile to fully immerse viewers in the museum-like feel, structures were installed for renter-friendly removal.
