Toyota recently hosted its free sports clinic in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. Spanning November 26-27th, L.A. LIVE was transformed into a thriving hub for athletes of all ages and skill sets. Attendees could meet and learn from professional and Olympic athletes over the course of the event.
The Toyota Sports Festival also has a focus on inclusive and adaptive clinics, such as sitting volleyball, seated throw, goalball, and wheelchair racing.
We worked with DRAGONFLi to activate the iconic Los Angeles venue for the event. We produced a range of promotional graphics, including banners, decals, signage, fabric frames, and more.

About the L.A. LIVE Toyota Sports Festival
The Toyota Sports Festival is a two-day event designed to educate, inspire, and motivate athletes of all ages and skill sets. The festival included a range of interactive workshops, clinics, panel discussions, demonstrations, and competitions. The event was free and open to the public.
The event featured a variety of professional and Olympic athletes from multiple sports such as baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, swimming, and more. Participants in the adaptive sports clinics had access to special equipment such as wheelchairs, throwers, and other tools designed for athletes with disabilities.

A3 Visual Print Graphics at L.A. LIVE
In total, our team produced over 100 custom graphics for the Toyota Sports Festival. Beyond fabrication, we also provided installation and removal services as well as hardware rental.
This sprawling venue required significant print collateral in order to be truly transformed for the event, so we got to work as quickly as we could. To start, we produced 40 custom bike rack barricade covers, each UV-printed on tight mesh fabric. These were installed with black grommets to ensure an efficient installation and removal. We also printed 15 banner runners that were placed near the main entrances, each measuring 600" x 40".
For installation throughout the property, we also produced dozens of single-sided 24" x 36" custom signs featuring important wayfinding information. These included anything from welcome graphics to "free clinic" signage, waiver notices, storage locker details, and other important event information. Additional signs helped indicate rideshare pickup and drop-off locations as well as wayfinding information to help attendees easily find the lounge. Additional one-off graphics included the basketball court backboard graphic and a hydration station desk wrap.
The lounge itself became an important aspect of the installation and required a significant amount of custom fabrication. Using direct dye sublimation, we printed multiple banners on blockout fabric that were then secured to the lounge structure. 13 additional column wraps surrounded the main lounge, as well as several banner backdrops for the welcome desk and other attendee areas. Above the lounge, we also printed and installed 25 custom shade panels made of 3.2oz JetFlag, each secured with grommets.
Finally, we produced 8 custom signs that were UV-printed on 4mm Coroplast. Each 24" x 36" sign featured important schedule information for the two-day event and was installed throughout the premises.
